My family has always been surrounded by dogs, including my uncle who used to keep Newfoundlanders. The first bull type breed that brought me to involvement in the sport of purebred dogs was a brindle Bull Terrier female. That was in the mid 80’s and several years
later, under strange circumstances, I got involved with the American Staffordshire Terrier which has become my passion and fills me with so much joy. Currently I share my home with American Cockers, a Bull Terrier Miniature, Boston Terriers and of course Amstaffs.
My story as an American Staffordshire Terrier breeder started with a background of the Texan R & D Kennels and Barberycoast dogs that were tightly line bred to the famous dogs of Fred Sindelar’s.
Soon after that, I registered my kennel name “Royal Nobleman’s.” My motto is “Quality before all else”, which for me means health and temperament sit firmly in first place. My kennel and dogs are represented worldwide with their influence in Spain and Russia standing out the most.
It is a natural progression to go from breeding to judging and I am now an International FCI judge for the following groups: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 and 9. I have travelled all around the world thanks to my hobby. Learning about new cultures, languages, meeting interesting people and going over beautiful dogs is the most precious part of it.
I have had the fortune to judge on the different continents of the world. So far, I have judged in Spain, Poland, Germany, Austria, France, Russia, Japan, Israel, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia,Slovakia, Ukraine, Cyprus, Latvia, Hungary, Mexico, USA, Australia, and South Africa.
I am also an approved AKC judge for conformation. In 2017 I had the huge honour to judgeDevon, one of the shows of the prestigious Montgomery County weekend.
I believe in sharing knowledge and in recent times I have started holding seminars about the Bull Terrier Type Breeds for Breeders, Judges, Owners, and those with an interest in these wonderful breeds.
Another achievement that I am immensely proud of is the Amstaff Major AST World Specialty, one of the most recognized breed specialties that I run together with one of my best friends, Mirko Popovi.
